Negative Ions are good for Your Hair Just as it is to the Environment

Ions are everywhere around us. There are both positive and negative ions. Their presence has a remarkable effect to the environment. According to one research, having negative ions can be greatly beneficial to your well being because it can affect your metabolism as means of improving human behavior. This was in one of the studies of a scientist who is famous in our century. Because of this, it made me wonder what is in negative ions that they are also being promoted as part of what is beneficial in professional hair straighteners.

From the study that I have mentioned a while ago, there is something in negative ions that even if it is abundant in our surrounding, you will feel more uplifted when exposed. This is such a wonder because the word positive for us connotes something that is good. However, when they become ions they can have adverse effects to plants and animals. Even on hair straighteners before, they had a positive ion, which sucks, out the moisture leaving hair dry after being straightened out. There is nothing wrong with having both electrical charges in the surrounding because they contribute to homeostasis. However, it is funny that the terms negative and positive do not work as it is based on how it is defined in our dictionary. It is like yin-yang or good and bad. Positive are usually an advantage but the negative is usually the disadvantage. But if there will be too much positive ions in the surroundings, they can lead to more mistakes and irrational anger in human being. These ions are a great disadvantage to human being when breathed in large amounts. What more if the hair gets them? That is why negative ions need to outnumber the positive in the surroundings because it makes it calmer and stimulates good morale. Therefore, if you are worried about hair damage preceding hair straightening then I guess it is best to get ceramic hair straighteners as they make use of negative ion charges.

Simply saying negative ions are good for your hair as it is to your environment.
